Let me start off by saying that I am a Spider-Man fanboy. I've been reading dome novels, reading the comics, and have two posters and a wooden plaque hanging on my bedroom wall. When the trailer came out this morning right before I left for work, I had to watch it right away. In case you haven't seen it yet, you can watch it  here . Let me start off by clearing up some fog that some people may have about Rhino. Yes, he's a robot in this movie. Why? This movie series is based on the comic book series "Ultimate Spider-Man", but set in the timeline of "The Amazing Spider-Man". In "Ultimate Spider-Man", the Rhino was a guy in a robotic rhino suit committing crimes. He wasn't too important in that series, but I think he will play a nice role in the upcoming film. Also, he is being played by Paul Giammatti. The trailer was just so amazing for me. It looks like there will definitely be more Spider-Man in this movie than the previous one. Wha

50 years after the invasion that nearly wiped out the human race, 12 year old Andrew "Ender" Wiggin is chosen to become part of the military program starting in a space-based battle school. The commanders see hope in Ender, that he may be the one to command the army to take down the alien foe once and for all. Based on the award-winning novel by Orson Scott Card, "Ender's Game" does the book justice... in a way. As a movie itself, it may be a bit confusing and cut off too early if you didn't read the book. Don't get me wrong, this is a great stand-alone movie, but it's kind of like "Harry Potter" as to getting a full understanding of the film. As a book adaption, this movie isn't that bad. What my main complaint about the film is the pacing. Where most films take out chunks of the book and replace them with something else, this movie takes huge  chunks out and leaves them empty causing the length of the film to be shorter

One child specially chosen for battle school is Andrew "Ender" Wiggin. Even at the age of six, he's able to come up with battle strategies at a moments notice, and none of them have ever failed. In battle school, he learns to improve of his gifts through computer simulations and zero-gravity army battles. Could Ender be the one to save humanity? Why are novelizations made? For readers like myself who loved the film and want to experience it again with more insight. Now, most novelizations aren't like that. The few I've read (Especially junior novelizations) that just spit out sentences. This, however, is not the case for "Man of Steel". If you've seen the movie or the trailer, then you kno w what the book's about. To save his son from the doomed planet Krypton, Jor-El sends his one and only son to Earth, in hopes of a better future. Kal-El, a.k.a. Clark Kent, grows into a man and becomes Superman. Wanting to discover about his alien heritage, he seeks out to find answers, which he discovers his meaning and his choice to change the world. This novelization is smoothly written. The action was amazing and I loved how we got a deeper insight into the characters. Plus, since this book is based on the original script before shooting, it contains scenes not found in the movie. The only complaint I have

Hey, Sony did it with Spider-Man last year for his 50th anniversary. Jor-El and Lara, the parents of the first natural-born kryptonian in years, must send their newborn son to a distant planet to escape the fate of Krypton. With their son is the codex, the genetic coding of krypton, giving his son a chance to save their race and to keep it out of General Zod's reach. After 30 years of living on earth and trying to keep his powers secret, Kal-El (aka Clark Kent) is faced with a choice to either go against the human race to save Krypton or to turn against his own kind to defend Earth. "Life in space is impossible." Ever heard the saying that "you can't judge a books by its cover"? The same applies to movies. When the trailer for "Gravity" was released, everyone had the right to be skeptical of the film because the trailer sucked, but the reason I think why is because "Gravity" is one of those movies where the more you know about it before seeing it, the less you'll enjoy it. When fixing a satellite, Houston reports that a cloud of space debris is on its way to the crew's ship, but the cloud comes sooner than expected, destroying the ship and scattering it's crew and leaving them stranded in zero gravity. Like I said, the less you know about the film, the better. "Gravity" is a thriller film, relying on shock value, intense sequences, slight humor, great acting, amazing visual effects, and pitch-perfect pacing. Starting with some back story, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" starts where it's 2009 predecessor left off, but I don't want to spoil much of it. (Heh heh, "spoil". Get it?) When returning to Swallow Falls, Flint and his friends discover that Flint Lockwood's Diatonic Super Mutating Dynamic Food Replicator ("Or for short: the FLDSMFR!") has went beyond than what the expected programming intended: it created food animals. Together, they try to find Flint's lab, create a device to trace the FLDSMFR, and "stop the food animals before they can learn to swim and attack Lady Liberty!" Amazingly animated, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" is definitely eye candy. The humor isn't as great as the first, though, by continuously using food puns from beginning to end, but it's still fun to watch. WARNING: This contains spoilers for "Tron: Legacy". So, I had recently gotten Netflix and high speed internet, and found out that this series was on Netflix. Being the fan of "Tron: Legacy" I am, I decide d to give this series a try. Oh man, what an amazing series. "Tron: Uprising" takes places in between "Tron" and "Tron: Legacy", after Clu kills Tron. Meet Beck (voiced by Elijah Wood), a program that's a great mechanic and not too bad at disc fighting. When Clu's forces interrupts Beck's and his friend's, Bodhi, harmless disc battle to recruit new programs. Bodhi stands up, leading him to get derezzed right in front of Beck. To avenge Bodhi's death and to protect his friends, Beck takes on the persona of Tron, protecting innocent programs and trying to find a way to stop Clu from taking control of the Grid.
